(b)advertising strikes again!

cool. but would be more effective if people didn't have scrollwheels on their mice. i probably wouldn't have noticed it.

It's so Mini-Cooper a la CP+B back in 2005.
This is supposed to be advertising for a $400,000 car??

Look guys! We know the internet, and uh, how people do the internet. Right guys? Right?

So it's an ad about an ad...

user interaction 100%, beats 2.1% In a client's eyes that's the best they're going to get from the web, no one is going to by a car like that online.
And...you get to say you thought of it, it's a win win.
- This is true; we can think what we like about the concept and execution, but the results speak for themselves.Continuity

Frankly I'd be annoyed if an ad commandeered the scrollbar on a page I was trying to read — and does anyone still click and drag those things or are we all using scrollbals/multitouch now?
- all us designers are. A rich dude at a bank still pulls the scroll bar. And yes it's annoying.tasty
- nice work by the way, super clean.tasty
- Good point. And thanks.thatboyneave

it's clever, but it's also annoying. with a 50-50 like that, i would say it doesn't work well enough to justify the media buy..,

i can't believe htey made a video to show off this stupid crap.
it's the modern equivalent of those annoying mouse cursor trails that were big in the 90s
