I hate it when any Citizen of the US feels patriotic, there's always some asshole from overseas that needs to comment on how lame the US is. Yes, there are lame parts too. So what. US citizens can still love their country.

Flyover states? I think you have it completely wrong. New York and LA aren't what America is about. In fact, I think it's what is wrong with America.
One time my car broke down in the middle of nowhere in a "fly over state" and two people pulled over to help and the people whose house I broke down in front of fed me (and my friends), offered us drinks and were extremely nice to us. The two guys who pulled over, fixed the car on the side of the road and refused money when I tried to pay them.
That's what America is about. People that don't have much, but will do anything for their friends, family and some random guy that broke down on the side of the road. Extreme conservative values AND extreme liberal values are one in the same. Generalizing the whole country between LA and New York is ignorant.

Free speech zone:
Free speech zones (also known as First Amendment Zones, Free speech cages, and Protest zones) are areas set aside in public places for political activists to exercise their right of free speech in the United States. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution states that "Congress shall make no law... abridging... the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." The existence of free speech zones is based on U.S. court decisions stipulating that the government may regulate the time, place, and manner—but not content—of expression.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fre…if you protest certain content however, your zone looks a little different
