Interesting how it is considered more socially acceptable to poke fun at Muslims. I wonder if this level of joking would be seen if she had dated a Jewish guy for instance, or a Buddhist.

That is an interesting issue ukit. Jews do get a special treatment. There's even a special name for being anti-Jewish - name one for a different nation.
In some countries anti-Semitism is a serious crime while anti-whateverothernation is a much lesser offence.The historical reasons for the special treatment seem obvious at first, but in my view they're not fair and actually cause a boost of anti-Semitism worldwide.

I guess it comes down to the question of whether you agree, or are willing to adapt your point of view to his. If his beliefs are very strong, as you say, and are based in religion - don't expect him to compromise much.
Religion is fundamentally irrational and a very personal matter, so I'm guessing there won't be too much space for debate, if you have different stances about certain things. This would be the case with many religions, not only Islam.

I believe that muslims are made out of dung. All Judo-christians are made out of shit dungs, but muslims especially, because they are 10 times as aggressive. "Jehovah" == "Allah" is the concentration of everything evil in the world, not only in the metaphysical sense, but very directly also

women in iran, iraq and in some other countries (not all muslim) have few rights when it comes to their children. forgetting everything else, that's a huge issue you would have to deal with if things start to go pear-shaped.

Quick question. Do all men want to get busy before they even know you or know if they like you as a person? Well I guess it's a natural thing. I'm at the point where I don't want to have sex until I really know and trust the person, it just seems like no one else thinks that way. redant, i always thought the same when i was "dating". i use the term loosely since i rarely went on a true date, rather i would get to know the guys as friends, with friends, before doing anything remotely physical or "relationshipey". i never understood why people wanted to put themselves in dating situations with total strangers, or people they barely knew.
figure out whether you like the person as a friend or person before moving on.
