Dr.B, I think you should understand there are some people who don't give a shit about being attached to a certain political party. This goes for me. And it's not because I am an incognito conservative either. It is simply because I typically find myself torn on certain issues. I don't like the idea of being locked into a certain political view, it makes no sense to me. All for what? So I can slap a label on myself and force my decisions to be funneled through the political ideals of "my party"? I care about my country and protecting the constitution, and take everything on an issue-by-issue basis.

its true, I have never registered with any party , don't plan on it either but I will be there ,
and saying that no one protested Bushes bullshit, well who is no one ? Cause I remember rallies against the war, rallies for Immigration Reform, rallies against the Border Wall ,
- and I remember them being called anti-american too, that was the point being made.DrBombay

What I really find entertaining is to ask... Would these yocals be protesting McCains Stimulus package? I don't f-in think so....
- But the McCain Stimulus would have been more military spending and tax cutsTheBlueOne
- ..and there would of been protests, but Fox would say they were by "radical leftists" andTheBlueOne
- not by Americans out prtoecting they're freedoms.TheBlueOne

all of these republicans complaining that coleman was robbed in minnesota / election was 'stolen' by franken need to shut the fuck up and remember florida in 2000 and/or the past 8 years of lunacy because of it. sure maybe there's some sketchy shit going on up north, but at least it won't have nearly the ramifications.

Hey,I am now and always have been an independent voter. Hell, I voted for Perot in 1992 when half of you were in grade school. And I am no fan of the bailouts under both Bush and Obama. But this whole "tea party" thing just strikes me as lame and manufactured. I find PETA lame, and I find it lame when I see some lefty protester in a giant paper mache head and puppets And this just feels the same to me. But hey, I'm all for protesting, so like I said, rock out with your tea bags out, kids.
But don't try to sell me on the idea that it hasn't been, if not manufactured, than at least co-opted for rightwing media propaganda purposes. I'd really like to hear from GR and designbot the day after and wonder if they'll report that sure, there were people protesting the wall street bailout (I'm against) and the stimulus (I'm fairly keynsian macro-economically speaking, so I'm not against per se) and whatever tax issue they think is unfair, but also any sightings of real rightwing signage and protesters? Will you guys also tell us if you see any more traditional left wing issues displayed? I mean if it's such a "non-partisan" issue, and we know from most demonstrations that people of all issue interests tend to show up, will there actually be anyone representing left issues as well as right?
I'm being serious. And again, if you're going, have fun and be safe.

http://www.keynesath…bliznutty - TBO - you think that book written in 1969 has anything to do with a right-wing website? hmmmbliznutty
- hahaha, TBO voted for Perot!!! I knew TBO was alright!********

^If you prefer I'll bring a sign that says "Bush tea-bagged the economy"
:PI will definitely get as many photos as possible, I am interested as you are to see what type of crowd will turn up. I suspect it will be very multi-partisan, but I could be completely wrong. It would be awesome to bring an audio recorder and post the audio as well....if I can get my hands on one, I'll do it.

designbot, no offense, but I will be amazed if a single registered Democrat shows up.
I am sure there will be plenty of partisan Republicans, a few Ron Paul types, and probably a healthy dose of the NWO-fearing, Jewish-banker-cabal scenesters.
- You could be right ukit, guess we will have to see.designbot
- haha ukit said "scenesters" !!!DrBombay
- so much for the non-partisan tea bagging

Here is the info for my area:
City: Colorado Springs
When: April 15, 12:00pm - 1:30pm
Where: Acacia Park at noon. Bring signs and at least one nonperishable food item to donate to Care & Share Foodbank.Pretty cool there will be lots of food donations I'm sure, so even if you think the protest is bunk....at least some hungry folks will be getting food as a result of this.
