Tea Parties: 750 locations in all 50 States
1) There is an overall weak turnout
The Administration, Capital Hill and Liberal/Progressives WIN BIG
2) There is an overall huge turnout
The Administration, Capital Hill and Liberal/Progressives LOSE BIGTrue? Untrue?

You know, I like the way Fox News is hyping these Tea Bag parties. All there anchors mention them, every hour on the hour. They trot out guest after guest about how patriotic it is to speak against your government and everything.
It's like they almost endorse it.
Odd, I don't remember them covering any anti Iraq war rallies at all. Odd indeed...

- <--- Silly me. Fox is fair and balanced, of course.TheBlueOne

It is crazy. I don't get it. Normally Fox plays it completely down the middle.

tea parties are just going to be a giant display of ignorance. they don't even understand the concept of the original tea party, much less what they are protesting. 90% of them will see a tax break next year.. stupid hillbillies

How many times can you recreate a single event?

Looks like I'll be attending the Tea Party in Sacramento, CA. With cameras in-hand, I'll do my best to document the situation with photographs. Just learned that Neil Cavuto will broadcast from there live, so should be very interesting.

Please, stop hating on the tea parties!
I don't get why the majority (it seems) of people in here are getting all huffy and puffy about this. Maybe the name is what turns you off? Essentially this is protest against things like wasteful government spending...which include (in the eyes those involved) the Obama Stimulus package, the bailouts, and unfair taxing among other things. FFS what is wrong with that!!!!!!
I will personally be attending this peaceful protest in a march down one of the busier streets in my own city in order to speak with my actions. I hope it will have some type of positive impact and get the attention it deserves.
- Not hating at all. You guys do your thing, rock out with your tea bags out..TheBlueOne

"Odd, I don't remember them covering any anti Iraq war rallies at all. Odd indeed."
This is just a organized get together for all the sour pusses who didn't get their way this time. Fuck them all.
- It's patriotic to demonstrate against Democratic Presidents...TheBlueOne
- ..it's treason to demonstrate against a Republican one.TheBlueOne
- I think I remember that in civics class or something...TheBlueOne

"On yesterday's (April 11, 2009) Cavuto on Business, Cavuto claimed that FOX was only covering the tea parties because of their newsworthiness. Cavuto said, “We do not pick and choose these rallies and protests. We were there for the Million Man March, even though, as I pointed out, it turned out to be well shy of a million men.”
Note to Neil: FOX NEWS started broadcasting on October 7, 1996.
Date of Million Man March: October 16, 1995I really think Fox should stay away from facts altogether.

All of you freedom lovers didn't demonstrate one iota when Bush was using Habeus Corpus as toilet paper.
- TheBlueOne0
So, GetRefresh, designbot...what's the plan? Are you guys bringing just little teabags? Or are you getting some kinda tea bales together? Dressing up like Indians? Or colonists? T-shirts with some kind of snappy slogan? What's the protocol here...?
- hahahahaaaDrBombay
- I'm Is there a teabag twitter somewhere?TheBlueOne
- Sign that says "DOWN WITH SOCIALISM" or some suchukit

Where was the demonstration during the Bush years?
Were Bush's massive deficits reason enough to demonstrate? How about an illegal war that cost 3 x as much as the bailout and has killed as many as 500k innocent people?
Torturing people? Justice department issuing memos declaring civil rights null and void? Letting an American city be destroyed? No reaction from the Cavuto/ tea bag crowd.
No, apparently only now do the "patriotic" Americans find the outrage to take to the streets. Excuse me if I'm slightly cynical.
- I recall lot's of war protests, televised and otherwise.********

Republicans are fucking morons.
- DrBombay0
But no one admits to being a republican anymore, now they all call themselves libertarians.
- designbot0
Just to clarify something...the protests tomorrow are not attached to any political party.
