Watching conservatives get psyched about this is like watching G20 protesters discuss what giant clown/polar bear puppet will be most effective at getting their global warming message across to the media...
- TheBlueOne0
...and I guess I'm somewhat happy that the conservatives have finally rediscovered the constitution..I wonder where they went when Bush suspended Habeus Corpus and launched that insidious program to electronically spy on all Americans without a warrant for nearly eight years running? But you go guys, rock out with your tea bags out.
- Or where you UNAMERICAN during that time? I lost my scorecard?..TheBlueOne
- Because I was called UNAMERICAN for bringing it up then. Must've fogotten to wave my wee tea bag about eh?TheBlueOne
- The numbers say it all. Bush didn't have much support even on the conservative side. He pissed everyone off.designbot
- so we needed more tea bags then, eh?TheBlueOne
- You lefties keep pointing your fingers to the past. When will you stop?********
- Are you against tea parties?designbot
- Am I against tea parties? See my comment above.TheBlueOne

^It's funny you mention that....I actually made a post about Bush spying on Americans through illegal wire tapping ....bullshit for sure, then again I'm not a conservative. I didn't see any liberals raise fuss about this either though, they seemed to blow it off.
- Um, you were looking in the right places.TheBlueOne

By the way, BIDEN caught lying again— saying he talked some shit to Bush in the past. ALL lies. And, by the way, why would he feel compelled to even "go there"? What an idiot.

So apparently at these tea parties they will dump a box of tea in the water...and then go back and fish it out of the water to avoid getting fined or something.
Man, that is some real rebellion right there!
- You should quit talking shit about this. It's not a left or right thing, it's a "US gov., stop acting so fucked up" thing. Do you "get it"?********
- This article is totally biased, it's obvious from the sarcasm at the very beggining. Seems like an attempt to discredit the movement.designbot

@ukit
haha well take away the theatrics, and the underlying issue is serious. The people have every right to be pissed.- If I was in Cali, I would want Arnold to be terminated too...hehe sorry , bad pun.designbot
- I guess. I don't really have an issue with the stimulus. Pissed off out about the bank handouts though...TheBlueOne

Interesting how the concept of the tea party is getting used against liberals(or in other words those who support the current administration).
Very clever strategy to blur the lines between concept and context.
- No it's not. You want to think so, though.********
- Yes it is, you just want to think otherwise.IRNlun6
- No it's not. You want to think so, though.

you're all going to get tea-bagged.
- I always knew you wanted to put your balls in my mouth. Freak.tommyo
- Ha. you made tea come out my nose on that one.TheBlueOne

Dems proposed a bill to extend the wire tapping a couple years ago too. I can't get to the article anymore but I posted it and then Dobolina and I got into a Steel Cage Death Match. I'm still healing from those wounds Rick. When the weather turns humid I can barely will myself to get out of bed.

Hey, I'm all for free speech. You conservative guys rock out with your tea party concept. You have a valid argument, just one I don't completely agree with.
I just find these gimmicky protests rather silly though no matter what side of the political spectrum they come from. By doing this you kinda undermine all the criticism your side throws at Code Pink, et. al. though, you do realize that, right?
- ukit0
So, question:
What solution is being proposed by the tea party people?
Do they have some kind of policy they'd like to see implemented? The most feasible alternative to the current policy I've heard is to nationalize the banks. Is that what the tea baggers want?
- I think it's "Cut Taxes". That's all they got.TheBlueOne
- "Cunt Taxes" would solve everyone's problems. These guys would balance the shit.DrBombay
- Man if they start charging me taxes on the cunts I use ... holy fuck I'll break a politician in half. You can mess with my incometommyo
- but if you touch my cunts I'm going to fuck someone up!tommyo
- hahahahahahaha!DrBombay
- tommyo0
Yeah I'm a little iffy about going to one of these tea parties. If it's just a bunch of twat Republicans with their 'I hate Obama' signs I might puke. I like the concept, but the politicization of it undermines it imo.
- It's not the politicization so much as it is the term "teabaggers"...TheBlueOne
- I'm okay with that part.tommyo
- tommyo0
"The most feasible alternative to the current policy I've heard is to nationalize the banks."
haha I still don't get this kind of logic. You do know that government has zero fucking experience with banking. You do realize that while all this went down the SEC was pretty much impotent, non-existent, inept. So what EXACTLY leads you to believe that putting these bone heads who get elected based off of moneys donated to them by corporations can now become A. Intelligent enough to guide the banking industry (one they've already proven to know jack shit about). B. Free of the previously mentioned corporate interests to unbiasedly make decisions based on the behalf of the companies they would be overseeing.
Sorry but to me, this is a god damned train wreck waiting to happen. Gov failed, banks failed, so merge them together ... how is this even logical?? Imo, we just need to learn from this debacle and move forward. Gov needs more oversight of the industries that can cripple us, using intelligent people who are as clever as the bankers. Banking needs to start acting responsibly. Problem solved. Why do we need to change the whole fucking paradigm in illogical ways??
