haha I still don't get this kind of logic. You do know that government has zero fucking experience with banking. You do realize that while all this went down the SEC was pretty much impotent, non-existent, inept. So what EXACTLY leads you to believe that putting these bone heads who get elected based off of moneys donated to them by corporations can now become A. Intelligent enough to guide the banking industry (one they've already proven to know jack shit about). B. Free of the previously mentioned corporate interests to unbiasedly make decisions based on the behalf of the companies they would be overseeing.
Sorry but to me, this is a god damned train wreck waiting to happen. Gov failed, banks failed, so merge them together ... how is this even logical?? Imo, we just need to learn from this debacle and move forward. Gov needs more oversight of the industries that can cripple us, using intelligent people who are as clever as the bankers. Banking needs to start acting responsibly. Problem solved. Why do we need to change the whole fucking paradigm in illogical ways??
