I was just thinking, for all we know maybe Tony had a heart attack eating onion rings.

what would have been an awesome ending was after the screen goes black, 'john from cincinatti' comes on. and in one of the first few scenes, you see tony getting whacked in the background. would have been great cross-promotion.

Hahah, Jens, I spent the entire afternoon trying to download that mp3 from imgdumb, but the stupid QBN player kept embedding it.
I had to create an hmtl page, link it and then right click on it :)
..been listening ever since!

after watching it again last night I think that was genius. Better than the first viewing.
And yes, Tony lives. At the sit down in the warehouse the NY crew agrees to back off AND also gives the go ahead to take their own boss out. "You do what you gotta do". No one was after him after that agreement from the NY crew.
And it seems in the end Tony just keeps goin on and on and on.....

I agree that it just 'goes on and on' with him continually having to worry and watch his back at all times.
Someone on the HBO site mentioned that the title Made in America was also the title of the first chapter in a Court TV bio on Capone.

I haven't read it but they said he ended up going to prison on concealed gun and tax evasion charges, retired and had a heart attack. Interesting comparison anyway. Sounds plausible.
