the whole episode made me think of the movie Jacob's Ladder...but Jacob's Ladder was done well...last night didn't rise to the occasion. The beginning of tis season was great but last night felt like they were cheating in order to be oblique...nothing genius about it.

sorry, i meant that this is the third time in less than a year that i've had the rug pulled out from under me. two stephen king books come without an ending ("the colorado kid" and "cell" ['cell' to a lesser extent]) and then this.
the way i see it, if i'm commited to a story for 400 pages (or seven seasons) a little resolution doesn't seem like too much to expect.
and i'll accept the abrupt stop as tony getting shot, but i had hoped for a great ending.

By the looks of comments around the Web, many viewers either don’t appreciate “art” as much as Mr. Chase would like; were really uncomfortable with their inner “tension” over the show; or both.
