Just spent two hours trying to properly convert CMYK to RGB to match the right color...
C=49, M=0, K=23, K=0
On the screen...fucking hell!
Wondering how the flyers and book cover will look like.
Flyers will be printed in one print shop...the book by the publisher.Even if I could use Pantone, there would still be an issue.
I already had forgotten about issues like this after 5 years without client printing jobs.

- the first design was made in RGB because it was for screen only but client liked it so much it opted to have me design the flyers and book cover.oey_oey
- so I had to redo the colors as I used Aqua (or RGB Cyan) first and there's no CMYK match. So I opted for this turquoise like Pantone 3252 but...damn!oey_oey

Plasma TV burnt out. Fuuuuuuuuck
I’m actually fine with this as I spent the night without some display light in my face. I noticed it shut down some hours earlier and when troubleshooting I heard that vsst-pop! sound with the trailing burnt smell of a blown capacitor.
It's been running great for more than 10 years so it has served its purpose, but the image is so beautiful and displays everything with an interesting film-look I feel like I just need to open it up and inspect the boards. I’m pretty decent with a soldering iron and I'm sure I could find parts, the real problem is the fucker weighs over 75lbs and is so awkward to hold it can take up to 3 people to lift it off the wall.
The gf has convinced me to find a new tv. With so many options now, 4k..8k..QLED..OLED...it should be an easy pick, right?
