stop sending me pictures for a full bleed A4 cover taken off a camera phone. It's not big, it's not clever and certainly doesn't reflect the professional aesthetic you were so eager to present.
slaps forehead and rolls eyes to heaven – why did i want to be a designer? why oh why oh why?

The problem with most customers is that they have very litle knowledge about what we do exactly, our processes, the problems we face and so on! When I meet a customer that doesnt know none of this I make an extra effort to a avoid being treated like an artworker, type-writer or a code monkey, in the other hand is part of our job, to make the customer aware of our processes of work so they have a clearer idea, as we cant aspect them to have knowledge about our industry, the same way you have to learn a bit about theirs in order to perfom the best job possible. Off course most of times we deal with smart arses, pretending they are the bullocks and know already everything, so they cant care less towards whatever you telling them, others are simply just stupid! Like this woman that couldn´t possibly understand that a "Font" is a file like any other, that i need to have in my computer, in order to use it. NOT A WORD DOCUMENT WITH TYPE FROM A to Z. know what I mean....?

i was having a rough client day yesterday, yon b-law-unto-himself. today is better.
:D
i actually enjoy making clients aware of what actually goes into websites. i'm still fascinated by the magic of it and sometimes i can speak really passionately about it. the client ends up learning something new and feeling better about the end result.
