hahaha kyle, i hear ya.
i just got a new bike and it'll be perfect for riding to work, but it's not really fit for bar hopping (because people will want to steal it).
so i need another roadie that's ridable but sort of like a piece of junk (when i'm wasted, it won't matter anyway).

i'd love a low slung cruiser with rubber flames up the wheels but sadly i have no room in my teeny tiny london flat.
i've got a fold up dahon 7 speed, i ride it to and from work every day and i love it!

Used to paint these too. finally gave away that bike to my nephew recently.
I was a pretty major bike geek for like 20 years.

graf, you just need a cruiser for the barhop, but be careful, the dui for bike riding is almost if not as bad as driving.
I need to start waking up early and doing an hour on the bike before work.

i've got three, a nice trek roadie for big long rides in the farmland, a bmx i need to give to a poor kid without a bike and a 1speed commuter for around town, work and bar hopping. no fixie, cuz home is a downhill coast from the bars.
and yeah i'm in way better shape now that i commute even my broken down knees feel better.

yeah i know on drunk riding. good news is i'm moving to lower haight (a block away from an bodhran actually) so most bars will be short bike ride.

10yr old Cannondale Delta V, just started riding to work again recently and it feels great! 45 mins tube journey vs 15 mins bike, no contest.

i ride a beautiful early 80's concorde modified to track- super light and fast. no we aren't to old to be bombing around on old bmxs. fuck cars-fuck gas- fuck polution.

i have a 12 year old trek mtn. bike that i should take to the shop for a tune up. i used to love to ride.
bmx growing as a kid. mountain bike as a late teen early twenties until i broke the hell out of my shoulder... been getting fatter ever since then.

I ride an IRO track bike 48/16 gear ratio 7 miles to work every day and spit on all Hummers I see stuck in traffic. I'm in the best shape of my life. Everyone should ride a bike. They're easier to evacuate your city on.
I've also got an Carbon Fiber Aegis road bike with 105 components & speedplay pedals for when I want to WIN races.
I've also got a couple mountain bikes that are sadly out of commission.
