yeah i have.
my lock is pretty new (since that hack incident) and pretty safe, but then thieves will do anything to steal bikes...

I don't have any pics of the bikes (which is silly since i work as a photographer for a living..).. i really need too.. i just got one nicked and don't have a single pick to put up at any of the bike shops to keep a look out.. .. i just got everything to start painting bikes.. Just got a sandblaster also.. going to paint our first bike this weekend.. i am going to screw up my friends bike before i do any of mine.. looking into ways to reproduce old decals also.. RSS feed of the craigslist bike section is where it is at for picking up old stuff cheap..

very cool loaf. I used to paint bikes for a living in the nineties, Id love to see some pics of your setup. I miss those days.

remove the stickers or cover them with electrical tape.
make sure your locks use a flat key and not a tubular key.
get a big chain to lock the frame AND one wheel to a pole, and a mini u-lock to lock the other wheel to the frame.
this set up should make most theives pass your bike.
I see so many bikes in this city with an $80 lock around just the front wheel. two turns of a wrench and the whole bike disappears. Use the above set up and you should be fine.

i have cannodale mt bike. i took it out on sunday. i kinda wanna try a road bike. i train on fitness bike at my gym usually. the treadmill fucked my knees.
