I see your ^ and raise you:
"If somewhere within the bible I were to find a passage that said 2+2=5, I wouldn't question what I'm reading in the bible, I would believe it, accept it as true, and do my best to work it out and understand it."
- there is ignorance and fallacies in both secs of beliefs systems. However the with the math is ayurimon
- complete moron, in the sense that math and geometry was crucial in ancient religious belief

The problem with that video is that evolution has been observed directly, as these examples show:
http://listverse.com/2011/11/19/…
Creationists would say, these are simply changes within individual species (or "kinds" as they call it), and that you can't actually evolve from one species to another.
But this misses the point because the idea of species is just something made up by humans. Scientists even disagree a lot of time over what actually is a different species and what isn't.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spe…
In reality every lifeform is constantly developing genetic mutations and some of those mutations result in an advantage in terms of adaptation to the environment. So the idea that a bear can change colors within its own species, but that it couldn't evolve into a polar bear...what exactly would stop that from happening? If you have enough changes over time then eventually we will recognize it as having evolved into another "species", but there's no official line there that stops it from happening.
- I wouldnt question change or process of adaptation in evolution etc. life is change.yurimon
- I think for me the core question is the awareness behind the change. example how did bees evolve a strategy to live and build an uniquely geometric nest. shaped nestyurimon
- a unique geometrically engineered nest. how did they know that shape was strong and efficient..yurimon
- and how did they know to develop the chemical system to make it happen..yurimon
- you don't understand shit, obviously... they don't have to 'know,' nature selected for those traitsmonospaced
- and it was a long process, small changes, that made it possible, and so difficult for you to graspmonospaced
- really really really long, like wAy fucking more that 7000 years longmoldero
- First you would have to accept that the earth is that old.********
