Imagine the neighbours seeing him in the backgreen, 'Margaret, he's battering the dummies again, talking about the Holy Spirit'.- that's painful to watch. enjoyed the gratuitous flymo actionFax_Benson

Church pedo-line. Think David Icke used to say Child Line in the UK was set up to filter out kids who'd been abused by MP's. Nice one Esther.

- - you can't kill people
- fuck offMilan - @milan, when did atheists ever go on a killing spree?renderedred
- being atheist means: 1. you're too smart and past religion 2. you're too dumb and don't care...grafician
- If god created all men then all men should obey god's laws.deadsperm
- The guy on the right is the one not making sense. He should be saying fuck off in both cases.deadsperm
- "when did atheists ever go on a killing spree?" You're being facetious... yes?PonyBoy
- @pony i kid, i kid :) but it's true thorenderedred
- also @pony, i can relate to this kind of conversation, since i live in jerusalem, and i had to do this many times with religious people of all kinds irl.renderedred
- Nations that have implemented State Atheism (under Marxism etc) have confined and / or murdered millions, dude... and continue to.PonyBoy
- Point being: religious folks aren't the only ones telling 'us' what we can/can't do nor are alone in using force to implement their ideology (religious or not).PonyBoy
- sure, but what is state implemented atheism? just another religion. if you do some body counting through history, billions have died for this or that god.renderedred
- point being, people have never banded around the idea of atheism in order to impose it on someone else, aggressively or not.renderedred
- Marxism is a form of human Government... it's not a 'religion'. When they implement their atheist ideology is that when they become a 'religion'?PonyBoy
- If this is the case (if I'm following you correctly) then we can never escape religion... :/PonyBoy
- yes, you are, exactly, the rules, the system is the same, hierarchy. etc.renderedred
- and i am also undecided on the "big escape", but my faith in humanity isn't the highestrenderedred
- in communist countries instead of a cross or any other other symbol you had the picture of the big leader in every classroom.renderedred
- "tito is always watching over us" this was the slogan i grew up with, for example...renderedred
- and i saw him 3 times!renderedred
- what i'm saying is, to a 5-6-7-8 year old and idea of a super-being watching over all of us all the time is like god. indoctrination from an early age, renderedred
- that's how it works in all cases...renderedred

- @rendered Pol Pot and Mao ZedongMorning_star
- NOBODY needs a religion to tell them not to kill people. If you claim that's the only reason you don't, you have serious issues.monospaced
- Discussing the killing patterns of atheists is entirely beside the point. It isn't connected.monospaced
- Athiests that kill to push their ideology are exactly the same as religious folks who kill to push their ideology - so they are connected. Also...PonyBoy
- ... your ideology ("NOBODY needs a religion to tell them not to kill people") Is merely a religion in itself... as renderedred explained. :PPonyBoy
- @pony "no authority but yourself"renderedred
- lol nomonospaced
- atheism is merely a non-belief in gods, and if you want to distort and twist and fuck the definition of religion to fit it, fine, even if not accurate at allmonospaced
- it's not religious to understand that killing someone is not a good thing, ffsmonospaced
- the very idea that religions have the monopoly on ethics and morals is one of the most idiotic concepts i've ever heardmonospaced
- If you accept the first premise from a religious person but not the second one you really don't understand religion though.deadsperm
- Being tolerant doesn't mean not judging other people's views. If you pass no judgement you're really not being tolerant, that's too easy.deadsperm
- You either tolerate the other's belief in a god that is the source of all moral authority or you don't.deadsperm
- What I'm saying is that the answer should be the same to both statements from the religious person. You're either OK with both or tell them to fuck off in both.deadsperm
- Furthermore, SOMEBODY needs SOMETHING to tell them what is OK to do or not do in life. If that's RELIGION for some or REASONING for others, I'm OK with that .deadsperm
- Getting all hyped behind this dumb macro just shows how "reasonable" my fellow atheists are.deadsperm
- Yeah, it's pretty obvious a LOT of people would tell you it's bad to kill someone else, and any child would know that. It's not religion, though.monospaced
- shjit, even a lot of lesser animals understand this concept, and they'll never know what religion ismonospaced
- I agree. But isn't this image macro really about non-believers being OK with personal beliefs when they only apply to the believer.deadsperm
- Do non-believers really get the concept of god even if they don't believe in i? If we change the definition of god then we are abolishing god for the believers.deadsperm
- I think it's clear that this image points out that non-believers are OK with religious beliefs applying only to the believer ...deadsperm
- ... but not wanting the believer to apply those same beliefs to the rest of the world.
Which, to speak my thruth, is CRAZY!deadsperm - From that image it has gone one to several tangents about murder. But isn't what I've just said the basis of the image that was posted?deadsperm
- I am both OK with a muslim not drinking alcohol and believing I am an infidel for drinking alcohol.deadsperm
- That totally makes sense, to speak my thruth, in my definition of religious belief.deadsperm
- @monospaced
Don't call other animals "lesser animals", that's speciest! No other species, animal or not is lesser than humans.deadsperm - as a non believer, I definitely understand the concept of believing in a god, and I am okay with religious people believing what they want, I guessmonospaced
- @monspaced. Animals murder like motherfuckers.Morning_star
- @Morning_star
Other animals are lesser species though, so fuck them.deadsperm - We are superior rational beings that can't grasp that denying that god's laws apply to all humans is denying the very concept of god for those that be in it.deadsperm
- *that believe in it (god).deadsperm
- @Morning, yupmonospaced
- when I said "lesser" it wasn't in the snse you're using it ffs, but I suppose you both know that and are just arguing to arguemonospaced
- @deadsperm All species are linked through evolution. Through the development of the brain. What is true of lizards or chimps is equally true of humans.Morning_star

I've had dinner in the home of Muslim acquaintances and when they didn't serve me alcohol I didn't think of telling them to go fuck themselves because I don't believe that it's wrong for them to think that their religious beliefs apply to me as well. As a matter fact, I appreciate that they consider me their equal.
- they don't consider you equal. not one bit.Morning_star
- if they told you you aren't allowed to drink and that you were going to hell if you did, you might have had a response though :)monospaced
- imagine if you had them over to your home, and then they told you that you and your spouse couldn't drink in front of them?monospaced
- I've had them over my house and they were civilized (despite being Muslim).
In the hypothetical case they threatened me with hell ...deadsperm - ... I would not give a fuck since I don't believe in hell. But I would never invite them back because of their rudeness not because of their beliefs.deadsperm
- ...'despite being a muslim'...`i'm interested, what did you expect was going to happen'?Morning_star
- my sometimes extreme muslim friends never said anything if i was drinking alcohol in front of them, as much as i never criticized their choice not to.renderedred
- we discussed the issue at length, over and over of course. what kind of a world you live in LOLrenderedred
- LOL, indeed.deadsperm
- To speak my truth, I live in this crazy utopia where people of different beliefs can have each other over for dinner without being cunts.deadsperm
- +1Gnash
- In my truth that's what real tolerance is. Passing judgement on people (believing they're going to hell) but being able to share your table with them.deadsperm
- deadsperm, you're not alonemonospaced
- but what if they're trump voters -- dinner still on?Gnash
- lol, that's every family holiday :)monospaced
- as a good host they should have offered you some. When vegans come over I make sure they're taken care of._niko
- ...same with chicks, you have no idea how many bottles of undrinkable zinfandels I've had to purchase over the years lol_niko
- If you consider it a sin to serve Zinfandel to a host and you still serve then you're just being a cunt. I prefer someone that stands by their beliefs.deadsperm
- as a host you take care of your guests FFS._niko
- if crack heads come over I'll make sure I've to the finest crack! lol_niko
- As a host I offer my guests the best I have to offer. As a guest I accept everything I'm offered with the same kindness that's it being offered with.deadsperm
- If I want my personal needs met I stay at home or pay an establishment to cater to me.deadsperm
- right, so if you invite me to your house and you hate fish, but I only eat fish, what happens?_niko
- You think I would invite you over after this discussion? Fuck off proper!deadsperm
- lol, aw man, I was hoping for an invite!_niko
- but seriously when my mates and I get together it's the fucking UN, so many cultures and nationalities and religions, if i host, damn right i'll accommodate_niko
- ...everyone_niko
- your muslim hosts should have offered you something to drink, and if you were the only one drinking, you should have politely declined. That's the proper way_niko
- Seriously, we're in the religion thread. I'm talking about not serving something because of religious beliefs not taste.deadsperm
- but if they're hardcore and don't allow alcohol in their homes then that's cool too, no need to make it a big pompous thing on QBN lol_niko
- You're not a fucking fishtarian, you're just being an idiot.deadsperm
- _niko
My post is a comment on the previous post which I think is stupid.
I've reconsidered, you can come over but I'm not serving fish or Zinfandel. Bring ur owdeadsperm - ... bring your own food and drink.
God bless!deadsperm - :)_niko

Owners of a Noah's Ark replica file a lawsuit over rain damage!
They don't build them like they used to. Owners of a replica of Noah's Ark are suing their insurers, saying the companies failed to cover adequately damage caused by heavy rain.
The Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky, features a 510-foot wooden ship modeled after the biblical ark.
In a suit filed this week in US District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, the park alleges its insurers acted in bad faith after investigating damage to the property.
