would any of you regulars be interested in a rotated responsibilty of pulling down fridays music, ripping it at a low bit rate and using one of those nifty flash players to play the tracks?basically it could be a week behind. waddaya think, yes - no?

I'd be in. Wouldn't be too bad, especially with unfit on our side with the XML Flash Player deal. Haaa, haa that could be good actually, sh*t.

I'm in the same boat, greedo. We can use mine and Bonseff's flash player. Unless Unfit wants to make something with more features. (hint hint)

it would be nice to have some sort of custom app that would automate it, that way all we you have to do is upload the tracks to a folder. so maybe we would have to leave off the artist and track name.. that would kinda suck tho

i would be in...i'm not a regular because i work like a mad man, but if we could have mixes sort of how mike buzzard has his set up in flash, it would be cool.

We could also come up with some set of rules. Like we upload 10 each of our fav tracks and runoff or the same go to NT as well. It would end up turning into a site where people could go to hear the latest tunes, etc.

hmmm, depending upon how we do it. We might not want to allow for DL, instead just listen through. But then again it would be like a streaming radio station, but we could get sponsorship lol.

put it this way, taking each mp3 and mixing it into one or two long tracks wouldn't be that hard. You can do it with a variety of audio editors. Sound Forge for PC is the easist. One long linear track, each individual track with a three second seperation. Depending how the player would operate you could have control on where to specifically go. AS
