i would second the motion for a password protection/membership type deal.
if we get everybody here to upload their 10 most favorite tracks, you could have quite the music server. but it could be a giant bandwidth killer if you don't watch it.

OK, I'd be willing to do the audio editing part at least and provide some do-re-me. Someone want to host it?
So let's say we do something like take every .mp3, DL it and turn it into one or two tracks. I'd just need to know what format that AS or XML would have to pick up to play it. I have the bandwidth (Cable) to DL them all and HD space to save them.
Please advise.

OK, thats how we will start it off.

everyone is responsible for ripping to 64 bit rate and format their 10 in a xml file.then we consolidate the xml file and figure out how to make it play random
