Hopefully I'm missing something in my view of France. Do they have lower taxes than the UK and Ireland now? Are worker's unions not strong anymore in France?

You're taking it way too serious. I told you it was just a thought. It's a brain exercise of defying what the officials say. They're not gravity, they're only people. Politicians shouldn't be trusted.
Plenty of those revolutionary young people are wearing symbols of communism, a system that killed more people than fascism and has proven to lead to terror in every coutry where it was applied. You couldn't wear svastika on a t-shirt without being ostracized, could you?

Let's wait and see if the British are going to accept unified taxes, economy, law and politics. Im curious. Possibly Blair is using the referendum to cut these sections out of the constitution.

The British people are Eurosceptic by their nature. Not cos Europes a socialist crack house. Anyway, I thught you were talking government policies being socialist. When did the "people" come into this? I mean, in that case, all the polls show that the majority of German people are opposed to the constitution. In fact, a majority of Germans and French are now opposed to the Euro.
And umm, explain to me the difference between the Right and the "New Left" - cos i can't see it.
Anyway, both France and Germany (and Japan) are adopting a more Anglo-Saxon form of Capitalism based on Thatcher and Reagan. I'm sorry, but i just dont see how u get this idea that Europe is becoming more socialist.

I think Spain has the right to leave, but it isn't very nice. Even if a really bad move was done by the previous government, there was a commitment that was broken by a question of principle (and as way of penalty to the US) which simply does not apply anymore. The mess was done, and Spain was there. It could be much more helpful there with a new conscience, making way for the UN.

And that should have been enough to delete the thread ;) But no, and a few moments ago a couple non-offensive threads got deleted in a blink. As I say in my last post at the PBS... WTF?! If you're gonna stablish cnesorship rules, just be logical... imp's post broke at least one rule from the broadcast protocol and nothing happened. But I've got dozens of strikes for minor reasons... WTF?! Sorry for the offtopic, but I just had to let it out.

I think any forum must a have a mod team beyond its creators/administrators. Especially internatioonal forums with a huge amount of members, like the PVN. And mods should be chosen from as many different time zones as possible, so there's (almost) always at least one to keep an eye on things...
