Hopefully I'm missing something in my view of France. Do they have lower taxes than the UK and Ireland now? Are worker's unions not strong anymore in France?

You're taking it way too serious. I told you it was just a thought. It's a brain exercise of defying what the officials say. They're not gravity, they're only people. Politicians shouldn't be trusted.
Plenty of those revolutionary young people are wearing symbols of communism, a system that killed more people than fascism and has proven to lead to terror in every coutry where it was applied. You couldn't wear svastika on a t-shirt without being ostracized, could you?

Let's wait and see if the British are going to accept unified taxes, economy, law and politics. Im curious. Possibly Blair is using the referendum to cut these sections out of the constitution.
