Technology will have to be the factor that saves the world. Solutions to all our problems will have to be handed to us by people smarter that ourselves.
It has to. With all due respect to idealistic individuals and grass roots organizations doing great and admirable work, they are an inner city phenomenon in first world countries. I'm sure that you separate your trash and take shorter showers. But do you really expect 8 billion people with wildly different cultural and economic backgrounds to meaningfully change their ways in unison, to combat, for instance, climate change? Really?
The VAST MAJORITY of people worldwide will integrate new and sustainable technologies only when the become cheaper and more convenient. In other words, it won't be a choice built on morals. At some point, green energy will be cheaper than oil. Electric cars will be cheaper to drive than gasoline cars. At that point people will make the switch. The positive takeaway here is, that we seem to be getting there.

I believe it's inherent to QBN's nature, and perhaps even essential, that from time to time, we encounter individuals who may come across as trolls or exhibit unusual behavior (schizo / retarded).
Despite this, we should acknowledge that they add an element of entertainment to our community. So, in a way, I extend my thanks to these eccentric and unique individuals, even if absolutely talentless.
They are akin to modern-day court jesters, providing amusement without causing significant disruption; nor would it change us at all if they cut off their heads.

Is it rude to keep your seat in the reclined position most of a flight? Is there an appropriate percentage of the trip that’s socially acceptable? Does anyone even care?
I keep mine back the whole way but recently have been wondering if i’ve been causing any larry david style meltdowns in the seat behind me.
