well I'm off to bed now - I'm pitching to a potential new client + people from the council + assembled others tomorrow and its the first time I've EVER been lead on new business, so I'm a little nervous. I'm confident that our initial blind hand in was good work and have broken everything I have to say down point by point so fingers crossed.
Also earlier today, the guy who was hired in above me a month ago after me being 6 years at my work waiting for an opportunity handed in his notice today. This means two things: 1. I am defacto in charge below CD again but also doing everything I was before and more, and 2. I'll still be totally broke cos it won't make any diff to whether I get a raise. Testing times. My work is now aware that I'm actively looking to get away as well. Funny old business this one.
