i bumped this thread because i have seen this film last weekend as i mentioned before.
i was not intending to respond just to read what people thought about it and then some comments here made me rather angry as they seemed to be posted in a rather narrow mindset if you follow me...

One of the best films... it's story isn't its essence... the feeling that mirrors from it is just brilliant. And the music of Kevin Shield and others. Plus Brian Ferry has never sounded that great. This movie (watched it a few weeks ago again) made me go through my cd's, dig up My Bloody Valentines "Loveless" and enjoy noise.
It is just beautiful

Most corporation-guided flicks only accept scripts that ridicule the the audience's intelligence.
This film was made low-budget, small crew, little time etc. etc.
But it's one of the best i have seen in my lifetime.
enjoying the soundtrack now. i think i am gonna buy movie(i only rented it)+soundtrack later this week.

vburo i advise you to buy My Bloody Valentines "Loveless" if you liked the movie. Few songs are from that record but if you liked the soundtrack you should get it.
