personally,
i own the movie and it took me a couple times watching it to really get it but they way you can begin to identify with emotional connection is coolwell written and acted

i have watched it four times over the weekend and it's the closest to my all time fave (la haine) a movie will get.
besides imho you don't need to "get it", you need to feel it.
