It’s been less than 24 hrs since the incumbent president bowed out. It’s been only a week since the presidential challenger was shot at a podium. His would-be assassin executed on the spot.
NO ONE FUCKING KNOWS what is going to happen. Anyone predicting the outcome today or this week or next is ridiculous. It is absurd that people will be on TV and TikTok making any sort of prediction at all.
Don’t fall for this bullshit. No one has any idea how this will all play out. Turn off your tv, disconnect your internet. Get some peace of mind because speculating at this point is a waste of breath.

The Democrats are making a major blunder by choosing Kamala as their presidential candidate. Regardless of who they pair with her, they are destined to suffer BIGLY. What's their strategy, if there even is one? They should be selecting a presidential and vice-presidential candidate from two different swing states.

The main thing is that peoples' views of Kamala Harris are going to change.
Those of us who worked in advertising and marketing should understand this. If you can build a following around Biden, possibly the most boring person of all time, there's no question it can happen with Kamala Harris. She's very similar to Obama in many ways.
Also the timing is such that if she is a disaster and it trailing Trump in the polls in a couple weeks someone else can still step forward at the last minute.

Also, the border situation is way better than it was, even absent the reform bill that the GOP insisted on and then shot down.
A friend of mine has already trucked out the anti-Harris argument by bringing up her 1% in a crowded field in 2019. It's true that she didn't garner support. But 1% isn't a yardstick when you have nine candidates, or whatever it was, and one or two pique the interest of the voters; there won't be votes for most, and there weren't. Now it's different: She can run on the administration's successes as the sitting VP, and offer a plan for the future, which she and her staff have a month to hammer together. This is going to help neutralize the main drawback she had as a candidate, which was that she wouldn't answer questions in a straightforward manner, as she was trying not to offend anybody.
