Too soon for a 6G thread?

Don't know about the health risks but if it's even a possibility that it's going to block weather satellites (Water vapour in the atmosphere is detected at 23.8GHz) it seems daft to proceed with the rollout...
- lol that's the last thing to worry aboutset
- of course... but it's incredible that they want to force it through considering the effects on an existing technology, let alone biological concerns.kingsteven
- Agreed. It's sinister as fuck.set

I really hope Set's not gone for good over this.
I have enjoyed his presence on QBN.
- His account is gone :(thumb_screws
- oh wow! that really sucks!Krassy
- So we can have our own opinions now?LMFAO
- set has gone the way of paranoid, conspiracy theory twits who can't rationally debate without personal abuse. Control yourself mate & people may respond better.BusterBoy

I don't have a clue about the science behind it.
There's a petition if you want the govmnt (UK) to have to conduct an independent report
- * I guess it should be conduct an inquiry and then produce a report, rather than conduct a report.Fax_Benson

Some good animation to explain what it is, the misinformation about 5G does sound like a foreing power trying to dumb us down, while the tech is safe like any other, I mean... you should be worried about the first G, not the fifth one lol

5G COULD KILL HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE!

(the radio frequencies might interfere with radar-based altimeters which planes use to check their height)
- if a tower fell on them, maybeGuyFawkes
- They said the same about using an electronic device on the runway.monospaced

- 5G does cause hairy palms though, I know, trust me.GuyFawkes
- It shrank my penis!scarabin
- It's old planes BTW, looks like they'll need to upgrade their altimetersGuyFawkes

Seems to be taking off in Asia much faster than in the West so far
South Korea reaches 8 million 5G users

China tops 110 million 5G users in less than a year

Why the 5G coronavirus conspiracy theories don’t make sense
https://www.theverge.com/2020/4/…
Some of these theories suggest that the novel coronavirus can be transmitted through 5G or that 5G suppresses the immune system. Both are untrue. To understand why 5G and the virus aren’t linked, you have to understand why 5G radio waves aren’t powerful enough to damage the cells in your body alone or transmit a virus. Much like 4G or 3G before it, the radio waves used in 5G are low frequency and non-ionizing radiation. These are on the opposite end of the electromagnetic spectrum to ionizing radiation sources like X-rays, gamma rays, and ultraviolet rays.
- I read that 5G waves sense fear. So only affects those that give off the fear-frequency brain wavesGnash

- FCC says 5G is safe. Fingers crossed we are not all mutants in 10 years and the insects are all dead.inteliboy
- Considering it’s lower frequency than any visible light is comforting.monospaced
- its only the frequency that water vibrates, it's not like we're 60% water or anything :Dkingsteven
- as set was not so eloquently stating, the FCC actually have no idea if it's safe... as with all mobile technologies they let the market decide...kingsteven
- the difference being that 5g is being rolled out far quicker than previous technologies. i don't think it's going to kill us but no one knows for sure...kingsteven

https://www.wired.com/story/why-…
I will admit that i for one have no idea about RF/electro shit. But with that said I think Wired has a few respectable people left post trump and this article strikes me as fair. But it could be Glenn becking me on my lack of knowledge and trying to gaining trust in questioning. However I think the article sources enough that there really isn't any consideration to long term effects. And maybe there are none, but i think it's questionable that pumping a bunch of RF could use some study. Being more of a libertarian I can easily see who would fund such a study and the nature for gov intervention as the only way to "protect" the people, and that its absolutely biased between corporate and gov interests in realtime data all the time.
Theres also interest knowing there is 0 data so jump on oneside of the line and create fear news/content. Regardless of the tech or effects. The point is to get people to feel support or fear. I slightly suspect wired motives of this articles considering others.
But right now i think it is simply to early to know. and there is no definitive answer and all things should be questioned or taken with a grain of salt in this tech. including motives. Set's not right or wrong. There simply is not enough data to form an accurate opinion to me. and yet so many feel they have a real precise opinion? strange
