5G COULD KILL HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE!
https://www.defensenews.com/2020…
(the radio frequencies might interfere with radar-based altimeters which planes use to check their height)
- if a tower fell on them, maybeGuyFawkes
- They said the same about using an electronic device on the runway.monospaced

Trump admin is now saying they want a national 5G network instead of leaving it to private companies to build.
Actually they would create a monopoly where a single company builds the network at the direction of the Pentagon...state capitalism basically.
- Chyna-Styleoey_oey
- It's weird that Republicans would be proposing this but I think it shows the frustration at how slowly it's been rolled out in USA...yuekit
- Commucapitalismutopian
- Yankee Doodle Dandy Capitalismutopian
- 'at the direction of the Pentagon'
That sounds perfectly normal and above board.face_melter - weird? since when is it weird for republicans to grant huge govt contracts to their cronies?imbecile
- "if we install the network, spying on these idiots should be that much easier, right?"imbecile
- I would be in favor of this, actually, if it meant creating new jobs for lower skilled workers and faster internet for higher skilled liberals to make progressmonospaced
- I'm not necessarily against it either. I've been thinking for a while USA will move closer to China's economic approach, just out of necessity.yuekit
- Cue deathboy’s anti-socialist Venezuela rant in 3...2...1_niko
- What could go wrong?scarabin
- this would make it difficult to private networks just sayin.sted

Seems to be taking off in Asia much faster than in the West so far
South Korea reaches 8 million 5G users
https://www.rcrwireless.com/2020…
China tops 110 million 5G users in less than a year

Shenzhen says it’s the first city in the world to to have full stand-alone 5G coverage
- They probably burn the masts down there a bit less, if ever.PhanLo

Shopping for a new phone and I noticed many of them are 5G enabled now, even though it isn't available in my area.
Has anyone here been able to use 5G yet?
- 5g melted my hand so nohans_glib
- 5g is coming ... good or bad for you might as well benefit from the speeds if you are going to get bombarded with fake news and radiation everywhere anyways.AQUTE
- 5G will automatically vaccinate you with the new Corona vaccine giving you the autism. DON"T DO IT!moldero

- those wires are bothering me.fadein11
- this was some of Edison's anti AC propaganda, all the characters are popular stories of electrocution John Feeks is the guy in the lines...kingsteven
- also, don't folks get killed by electricity all the time? not to mention in it's wild state, which is much heavier due to flattened electrons...kingsteven
- huge masses of heavy electricity start randomly falling out of wires and crashing onto anything below.kingsteven
- Heavy electricity is regularly flattening cattle in Sri Lanka. Afterwards, the poor beasts look like giant, fur-covered slugs thrashing about on their backs...kingsteven
- and made of what scientists call “wobbly matter”. I won’t go into it here but basically it’s caused by sodomised electrons, which rush to the cow’s head end...kingsteven
- Now, just apply that to a young girl human!kingsteven

- The nihilistic idiot-baiting troll in me adores this, and wishes he'd thought of it first.Continuity
- this would drive the worlds biggest idiots and waste of air totally nuttymonospaced
- Yup. Delicious, isn't it?Continuity
- I wouldn't. You might live near someone with a legit mental illness (paranoia, dementia, etc) and this could hurt them. The risk isn't worth the joke, imho.nb
- nb, don't you know your neighbours?shapesalad
- There are probably 200-300 people who can see my wifi signal at any given moment. Maybe more. I have to do this.monospaced
- Shapesalad - do you know all your neighbours, having not all that long ago moved into a fairly dense area of London?Nairn
- i'd totally do this LOLrenderedred
- Lol, this is hilariousGnash
- Although, make sure your network is secure ‘cause I can see a hackorz dude wanting to fuck with youGnash
- Set just got committed.utopian
- Why is this on front page? we don't like misinformation and fake news, yet we play dumb jokes like this to spread false conspiracy shit? Right.grafician
- i wouldn't say spreading. more like laughing at it.pango

Jesus, I just re-read the first half of this thread. Set really did go stone bug-fuck, didn't he? It's like something let go in his skull, and he lost all sense of reality.
- i'm with him, set was more worried about the genuine 'unknowns' of nature like 5g blocking transcendence to higher astral plains than the shit you see nowkingsteven
- a lot of normie fuckers on here (and in the world at large) that will jump on folks for expressing a feeling or a theory outside the realms of common knowledgekingsteven
- Sigh. King, come on ... really?Continuity
- i've got in to enough arguments with set to understand his perspective. the mob mentality against him just demonstrated a lack of community.kingsteven
- Ok, but he wasn't helping his cause one tiny bit by doubling down on the crazy, when he was being presented ample evidence to its contrary.Continuity
- So, while yes I do agree to a certain degree QBN was really coming down on him, he also has a substantial share of responsibility for the outcome.Continuity
- these were the same people photoshopping his head on to everything. set contributed a lot more than most to this place over the years.kingsteven
- sorry for having zero tolerance to bullshiternexbcn
- he was able to defend himself and did. the 'doubling down' is pretty much the classic response of anyone against the mob that we usually call trollingkingsteven
- with set, rather than spamming his point like robo and resident 'trolls', he'd just go weirder and weirder to freak people out :Dkingsteven
- No, he clearly believed his own bullshit.Continuity
- I understand what you mean, but we are grown ups, if you bring up dubious facts you should be prepared to be counteredernexbcn
- i think there were a lot of points that set would argue continually on spiritual matters and his mistrust of science that help frame his perspective on 5g...kingsteven
- even if you write off his theories as bullshit, calling them out as bullshit isn't going to help your understanding why someone believes those theories...kingsteven
- some times i think folks fear understanding too much and starting to believe theories that will see them ostracised from their peers...kingsteven
- personally i love it, the idea of knowing you simultaneously hold opposing views... challenging your understanding rather than reinforcing your views.kingsteven
- didnt go back and read - but remember he was just angry and anyone who thought opposing views were idiots to him.inteliboy
- i found him quite open to opposing theories. but people rejecting his because they couldn't be proven true rather than because they could prove them falsekingsteven
- would get you called a cunt guaranteed :Dkingsteven
- It wasn't on us to prove his assertions false, anyway. He had the burden of proof, and it was unsatisfactory 'proof', to say the least.Continuity
- well i'm not sure anyone can prove that 5g won't limit us from ascending to a higher astral plain, otherwise totallykingsteven
