- It's a lot bigger than this too. Lots of NHS funding comes from clinical drug trials. The UK no longer being part of EU will mean a lot of these trials...dee-dubs
- could be relocated to Europe where they can pass the EU standards... guess what...another potential huge loss of income for the NHS that many...dee-dubs
- didn't realise it was getting in the first place!! oh well...will of the peopledee-dubs
- few years old but ...estimates of £2.4 billion GVA and nearly 40,000 jobs created by clinical trials. https://tinyurl.com/…dee-dubs
- ^ will of the people is a bit unjust. This election highlights how fucked politics truly is. States a anarchist!mugwart
- ∆ "will of the people" was more a comment on it being Mays stock response on why she keeps on insisting on driving this country off a cliffdee-dubs

“Yeah I usually get up to no good,” Keith admitted. “I’ve done things I’m not proud of in the past like put a banana up my ass and it snapped. I’ve had a shit in a cemetery and wiped my ass with chippy paper. I did the mess into a sock once too and threw it at my mate’s window. That was funny but I got a slap for that.”

- the £8.5b is like the money you pay on transport to get yourself to work, in order to get a salary, or in other words, jobs/investment and high GDP of UK.shapesalad
- Would Japan have invested so heavily in the UK in 80's had it not been sold to them as a gateway to EU? And would all those employed by japanese Co's had decentshapesalad
- jobs if we weren't paying 8.5b to be part of the EU? Well... seems we'll soon find out the hard way...shapesalad
- and that £8.5b is a tiny fraction of the UK's GDP. But that huge GDP is soon going to be a tiny fraction of it's former self once out of the EU.shapesalad
