The "C" stands for collage.
I started a thread about sparking creativity and the things people do to step away from the computer that they sit at all day every day.
cbass99 showed me some of the collages he had done for fun. The thought came to put together a collage exchange. This is where you come in. Myself, cbass99 and lvl_13 have all been sharing some ideas about how this can all happen. If you are interested in participating let me know and we will start the list. Let's use this thread to hash out all the details as well.
Just using this as a great way to do something fun that you don't have to overthink. Plus it connects all us QBN'ers just a little bit more.
I would love to participate.
Perhaps there's a theme, or set of themes to create around?
Samples dude! We're visual monkeys here.
Count me in btw.
too many words!
More samples! Capn!
Awesome Capn_Ron, count me in!
the list so far is below.
Sounds fun. I think there should be a theme.
1. Digital or print and shipped?
2. Is this a collective collage, or we each do one on our own?
3. Timeline? errr timeframe?
This thread is promising, don't fail us Capn!
More details needed.
im in too!
We do a 1-on-1 trade with our collages. This can work by completing a collage and sending it to your other qbner, or we can do something where you start a collage, send it to the person we pair you with and they add to it and send it back.
We can group up into 4 people and everyone starts a collage then sends it on for the next person to add to it. This happens till each person in the group has added to it and then it goes back to the original person who started it. 4 collages would be rotating in each group or 4 people.
Or let me know how you think this could work better.
- I'm still unclear if this is digital or physical.DRIFTMONKEY
- physical. paper and glue and pens and such. magazine clippings, wallpaper, fabric,capn_ron
- I guess you could print things to add.capn_ron
- i feel no computers is the way to go. just my 2 centscbass99
I'd like to join this project if possible.
At the end, we could make it a self-published book on Blurb or similar.
The blurb idea is a really good one. I think we could limit the size to one of the softcover book sizes and then people could print it if they want.
$12 for a 7x7 20 page softcover book.
