Apart from some bad UX design decisions Tahoe is apparently also a resource hog? People on reddit are reporting high usage of GPU/CPU and making the M-SOC's fans spin when previously it was all quiet.
I will probably wait until next year to update or may even skip Tahoe to see if Apple fixes their decisions in a next macOS version.

The one thing that is annoying me significantly is that in Safari, when you expand the url bar to click the X to close it, there is a small X in the url bar (where the mic icon is in the screenshot below), and a larger circular X to the right of the url bar (where the ellipsis icon is below)
I keep clicking the bigger one to clear the url and enter a new one, and that just minimizes the bottom of the screen.

Why does Apple switch from Aluminum to Titanium and vice versa every few years? Isn't Titanium superior and more scratch resistant?

All the examples in the video look terrible (except for the designs on solid colors), which shows that they did it quickly and without properly testing how it works with real content... What a horrible design!

Not for everyone, but tweaking a few accessibility settings gets a pretty unique ui that removes all the glass and makes it kind of cartoony. I kinda like it

Finally got Airpods. Opted for the Pro 2 on sale. Coming from Earpods, i gotta say I'm surprisingly very much not blown away.
- Sound is worse, I can hear the wireless compression.More bass, nice.
- ANC is very good, and that's the main selling point for me.
- However, ANC is dangerous in traffic. I like to be able to hear my surroundings as well as the music. And the passthru mode is complete ass, it picks up wind and amplifies it, forcing me to use ANC - which again, is dangerous.
So now I use both. And i use the EarPods more than the AirPods.
