Oh I get it... the lip on the back of the iMac strand is where you can rest an external HD. Probably could use a rubber band to hold it in place. Ok i like it. Even if it means you can’t push the iMac back as far as you’d like of your desk is up against a wall.

Now we know that the client Nairn was talking about in Client of the Day was Apple.
They wanted 3,5 cm and Nairn gave them 2 mm of thickness.
Thanks Nairn!

the iMac, finally they put the headphone port on the side. On the back it was a royal pain to find without having to, god forbid, stand up and move to side of desk.

Those iMacs are cool, can't wait to see what the bigger model looks like.

What's crazy right now is that vendors that sell used Apple products still want 1000€ for an iMac from 2015 or 1500€ for a MacBook Pro from 2017 or something...
- The market dictates that more than the vendor. May be relevant still for the older ports & compatibility with other older hardware?SteveJobs

No more 27" display, are they downgrading?
- And are the laptops faster than the new iMacs?utopian
- I'm guessing they will have a 27" or 30" in the fall with a faster M processor and more graphics capabilities.monospaced
- Performance between all the M1 machines is going to be pretty close since they have the same core guts.monospaced
- thanks.utopian

Apple: Ex-employee leaked future hardware products, sought favors from reporter.

Lancaster was advanced materials lead and product design architect at Apple, where he "was instrumental in the development of the 13"/15" MacBook Pro with the touch bar, and the design of unreleased Apple products," an Arris Composites press release said at the time.
( His biggest crime remains designing the Touch Bar ;)
- What are these "leaked future hardware products" hmmmgrafician

I have a M1 13" MBP + 27" LG 5K display for work and a M1 Mac Mini at home with 24" LG 4K at home. It's not a flex and I'd rather be off the grid but if anyone wants to know anything about how Creative Suite runs on both and the various bugs / issues let me know.

Does anyone have any tech support on pumping the stock back up?

Cupertino, California — Apple today announced a set of major new projects as part of its $100 million Racial Equity and Justice Initiative (REJI) to help dismantle systemic barriers to opportunity and combat injustices faced by communities of color. These forward-looking and comprehensive efforts include the Propel Center, a first-of-its-kind global innovation and learning hub for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); an Apple Developer Academy to support coding and tech education for students in Detroit; and venture capital funding for Black and Brown entrepreneurs. Together, Apple’s REJI commitments aim to expand opportunities for communities of color across the country and to help build the next generation of diverse leaders.
“We are all accountable to the urgent work of building a more just, more equitable world — and these new projects send a clear signal of Apple’s enduring commitment,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “We’re launching REJI’s latest initiatives with partners across a broad range of industries and backgrounds — from students to teachers, developers to entrepreneurs, and community organizers to justice advocates — working together to empower communities that have borne the brunt of racism and discrimination for far too long. We are honored to help bring this vision to bear, and to match our words and actions to the values of equity and inclusion we have always prized at Apple.”

- caviar is rassan trash in gold, most of the stuff they put on sale just makes no sense.sted
- Why are you posting non apple products here? Weird.monospaced
- Why not mono, it’s associated to Apple products and I posted an example earlier just to show the outrageous price.NBQ00
- that association is debatable, these are basically just fancy cases for a semi luxury brand what is using apple and elon to promote their products.sted
- can't find any detail regarding the materials and manufacturing methods use, like with any other proper luxury product.sted
- Yeah. But these aren’t apple products. They do the same pricing for Samsung editions.monospaced
- their designs are nothing more but overdone kitsch, which lacks any good taste, gypsies used to buy products of this appearance.sted
