I do wonder if they will hit up small and big size agencies. I.e. draft, pub, olgal

That bold creative director was such a dick and overrated himself BIGTIME.

I saw two episodes last night, and I thought it was a decent show. When the bald d-bag above was cutting off and stepping all over his co-worker during the pitch, I couldn't believe it. I also cringed when they tried to play their video three times with no audio.
I'll watch again, thought it was entertaining.

""We looked at the format and felt it was very misaligned with the way that we work with clients," said Doug Scott, president of Ogilvy Entertainment. "We didn't feel that the pitch was staying true to the process in which our [industry] works. What we were presented format-wise felt forced to be a dramatic competition, in a soft-scripted manner, vs. a more natural way that agencies work with clients and how a campaign is born."
Made me proud to work at Ogilvy.

"Trash Can" was such a good idea with more impact and "legs to run," much better than the winning direction. Too bad they couldn't pitch it better.
- yeah, they lacked the creative tech scope i think. Too old schoolliveforever
- Hey mono did you use Gill Sans or Myriad in that Powerpoint presentation?utopian
- the ask for the social networking was pointless, in my opinion, and could have been integrated latermonospaced
- I wanted to stick with Helvetica, the way I typed it on screen (black and white) but the "creatives" fucked it all up.monospaced

Few things:
- I thought it was hilarious that Subway's 'main man' was prob 400lbs. Way to live the brand partna'!
- It seemed like they wanted to make the poor copywriter chick at McKinney look like a complete fool. (she did not do much to avoid it either)
- HATED the people at mcKinney... specially since they pitched their little 'we're kind and nice from the south... no assholes allowed' bullshit and they were the biggest dicks all night.
- Their best idea was using a YouTube rapper. How, why didn't matter... just use him! Bonus: They even took him to the pitch to freestyle for the execs. (belly exposure included)
- The McKinney Creative Director or whatever he was... forgot his title, is the typical douchebag that I despise and seems to live in every agency out there. I wanted to slap him! He was not only the biggest pussy when both agencies were having their scripted 'face-off' hiding and looking down when confronted but he didn't do shit but complain and be a tool to everyone working 'for him'. Funny how tough he was at the office...
- McKinney CD bitch telling the camera: "relying on the young people at the agency is nerve-racking and terrifying" but when the 'young people' crafted the pitch that won the account her statement changed to "they are the backbone of our agency and success". Typical bitch...
- The most real part of this show to me... Creative Directors not doing shit and, at the end of the day, taking credit for a 'successful pitch'. Fucking clowns.

I think should go with the crying girl campaign

Wait ... What???
Waste Management is an actual client of someone's?????
And what the hell do they need Facebook for????

Considering that "The Pitch" is the only thing on TV that is relatable to my/ours creative field on TV, I don't think that the show it is that bad.
Just sayin'
- i do watch it every week – so you've got a point.tasty
- Yes, hand up - I like it too. They just talk about things like I do, in ways taht I do.

oh crap, WM has 6,601 followers.

Well some people are just better at selling/talking then they are at doing. Also did you see the way they worked at skg, they would involve everyone to generates ideas even secretarys.
This just reeks of idiocy how is someone supposed to come up with good ideas if they dont do it everyday in and out. It is sort of like a muscle, as cheesy as it sounds.
- what do you have against secretaries? Everyone is creative in some capacity. We are not unique.bulletfactory
- seriously?randomname

Waste Management would have a lot to say to customers / clients / public. Trash doesn't end when you put it in the bin. WM works to make landfills that produce methane and increase decomposition rates. They're the scientists taking out your garbage.
