I find it repulsive that a country lets its citizens carry guns under the guise of a document that was writen hundreds of years ago by people who were under the threat of armed militia...ridiculous. This isn't a personal attack on anyone who does...I just find it utterly wrong.

There is nothing wrong with owning a gun for protection or hobby purposes. Plenty of people own guns because its fun to go shooting. If you dont like it thats fine, but dont get on anyone's ass for owning one. They cant ban guns entirely, it will never happen.

I know I posted a rather anti-gun story on the previous page, but I actually am not against guns. Not that I don't think that they are insanely dangerous, but controlling them is not something a free society should do.
To me, Its kind of like the war on drugs, if you think about it. Most people who have used drugs are totally cool with it and don't become harmful to society because of their possible addiction problems. Just like this, most gun owners are totally responsible and don't harm themselves or others with their guns. Just because a very small minority are irresponsible doesn't mean that the rest should loose the privilege.

I remember reading an article about videogames a while back. Some douchebag Repulican bitching about parents that let their kids have a hobby that is designed to keep them on their ass for as long as possible. But the fact is they have that right because it cant be left up to one type of person to decide how things should be for everyone else.
This is exactly why I'm allowed to own a gun, and I'm allowed to actually enjoy it if I want. If you don't like it, booooo fucking hooo, noone cares.

This is probably off topic but -- Guns are fun to shoot but I prefer alternative weapons. I have a blow dart gun (no joke) and a really sweet compound bow.
and the blow dart gun looks something like this:
- i had a blow gun when i was 12, well it was my dads, but ide use it, it was rad, hurt my cheeks though by my earsmoldero
