You can kill someone with a rope, or hang yourself with it, I guess all rope should be banned. Rope is a deadly weapon too you know. So is a fucking pencil. We gonna take those away too?
There is nothing wrong with owning a gun for protection or hobby purposes. Plenty of people own guns because its fun to go shooting. If you dont like it thats fine, but dont get on anyone's ass for owning one. They cant ban guns entirely, it will never happen.
