The test is total bullshit. Mostly for reassurance for people with ADD to self-diagnosis themselves to a point where they'll feel comfortable to ask a doctor for a <strike>prescription</strike> subscription to adderall.
Let's test our hypothesis...
I scored 115.
If you take crystal meth or adderall, you will feel like a fucking genius because it gives you focusing powers. Except one is legal, the other not. Adderall/Ritalin/Concerta are all stimulants, class II narcotics. They are addictive and potent. Crystal Meth is Class I Narcotic. So you can literally let your local drug dealer you've been diagnosed with ADD, and he'll give you a bag of crank to whisk away your problems while losing weight at the same time (wohoo!). Difference one is legal and properly measured, the other is not.

- You fail to consider dosage and the fact that stimulants affect sufferers of ADHD differently.BRNK
- Why are you on such a crusade against ADHD?BRNK
- i'm not against ADD. That's ridiculous!omg

ADD is very real. It's a serious problem unless you can use it - then it's golden. Trust me, I speak the truth. But people who don't have it cannot possibly understand it.

But what is Adult ADD?
Is that a genre of pornography films with really fast movements?

I scored a 1.

Does it exist? Maybe. But I think everyone has the potential to be easily distracted (especially by QBN) but it's up to you to discipline yourself and teach yourself focus. You have to practice at it.
I used to have a terribly short attention span, and I started to read for leisure. I used to get three paragraphs into a book and my mind would wander and I would snap it back into focus. I can feel a difference now in my concentration and focus.* There are extreme cases where symptoms are severe, I'm not talking about that. ^^^ My 11 year old niece thinks she has ADD. I think she needs some hardline discipline! :)

This thread is filled with a lot of misinformed folks. It's hard enough living with ADHD without a bunch of self-righteous assholes telling you to "just discipline" your neurological disorder away.
I say do whatever works for you.
For those wondering about the diagnosis: I was diagnosed as an adult (at 25) with ADHDi. I proper diagnosis is not just a test, but an examination of your past behavior at school/home and interviews with those close to you. A website cannot diagnose you, period. If you think you might have it, find an honest psych and get tested. It gave me the tools and framework to tackle the problem.

Who in the world started the distracting idea of whether or not ADD even exist, as if it was some figment of someone's imagination. Or some sort of ghost. However it can be just a definition for people who do not have the same focus and concentration as others. A stage many experience as they get older when they endure great pressure.
An easy way is to throw yourself into addiction of drugs, for the benefit of having focus. Something that can be tackled in many different ways. In fact, its advised that you get yourself into a mental capacity to deal with everyday things in life in addition to a healing process of good foods and fun times exercising before deciding that you just need to go on the pill.
Then you end up like this guy:

@brnk. I wasn't suggesting that you could rid yourself of the problem by issuing a bit of self discipline, just that you could concievably learn to cope by forming positive habits that counteract the problem.

If switching to organic solved it then it most certainly was all in your head.
Funny we never had any of these problems when it was normal to slap your kids.

From Arkham Asylum:
"It’s quite possible we may actually be looking at some kind of super-sanity here. A brilliant new modification of human perception, more suited to urban life at the end of the twentieth century Unlike you and I, the Joker seems to have no control over the sensory information he’s receiving from the outside world."It's always struck me that we might need ADD to cope and thrive in this modern world of hyper information overload.
