This thread is filled with a lot of misinformed folks. It's hard enough living with ADHD without a bunch of self-righteous assholes telling you to "just discipline" your neurological disorder away.

I say do whatever works for you.

For those wondering about the diagnosis: I was diagnosed as an adult (at 25) with ADHDi. I proper diagnosis is not just a test, but an examination of your past behavior at school/home and interviews with those close to you. A website cannot diagnose you, period. If you think you might have it, find an honest psych and get tested. It gave me the tools and framework to tackle the problem.

    • where's the part where you discuss the adderall and all the fun times you've had on it?

    • I'm glad you're getting help for it. My family member is on medication and has counselling/coaching to help deal with it.Melanie
