I have a couple of wah pedals, one with the old style fasel inductor has a better sweep. I don't use it a lot, esp. in punk rock, but it's nice to use in other styles I play.
Also, invest in a dc brick - never buy another battery for your pedals.

this looks fucking rad!

Looks nice! Never liked (or used) wah-wah so much myself, but one has to appreciate its merits.

My 9V battery keeps dying and they're fucking expensive.... so no wah for a while for me.... only whammie.

so unless you actually know what it sounds like, you don't know any better after seeing this product placement and name dropping ...mentary. :(

In 7th grade I saw my friend in "up with people", playing a guitar solo with a Vox Crybaby pedal. I made up my mind and went and bought one of those pedals that week! Then I saved up enough to buy a guitar to go with it. Wish I still had both.
- LOL @ buying the pedal first. Can just imagine you using it with an air gtr until you got the real thinglocustsloth

It's better to get the custom shop rack mount. Gives you more flexibility and control over the parameters.
Also, be careful how you use them. They can be cheesy as fuck. It's a technique that requires attention and practice. If not, you'll be one of those dudes rocking it back and forth sounding like a idiot.

I'm an acoustic player but this does look sweet

Nice! I had a cry baby when I was in high school circa '95. Trying to learn Watch Tower... I remember it getting late and just moving from G to Am with my foot just moving back and forth. Probably sounded like shit, but I'll be damned if I thought it didn't sound cool as hell while playing.
I was trying to think what happened to that pedal I had, and sadly remembered. I sold it to a friend to buy some cheesy multi effects thing with a built in wah pedal. Could have been made by Casio for all I know. But it had nowhere near the sound/reaction quality a Cry Baby had.

i'd like it a lot more if it didn't feel like a huge commercial. Though i suppose someone had to pay for it.
- i bought a Bass Cry Baby. Biggest waste of money everlocustsloth
