I don't think it matters what clothes you interview, they won't answer.

Find out what the culture/attire is like in the shop and dress just slightly up from there.
- Short of asking them outright, I'm not sure how to accomplish this.Continuity
- this doesn't always work well for those (every day is casual friday) type places.SteveJobs

Wear what u usually wear, but pick out the nicer outfit that you really like. Don't try to look like someone you're not.
Come on, if they want you they have to take you as you are..
Which shop is it? I can probably pinpoint you and tell you what they're like .. Feel free to send me an email.
- Cool; expect a message soon-ish.Continuity
- I'm away tomorrow for the whole weekend so send me one now or tomorrow morning.Jordy

no one will ever judge you for over dressing but they may for under dressing.

Overdressing says "I really want this job" but on first glance can give the impression you're high strung or dull, or something else bad.
Underdressing says "I don't really care" or can also come across as arrogant.
Overdress, and make sure you come across verbally as approachable, friendly and interesting. By underdressing you make it hard to claw back the "I'm lazy" vibe.
If it's a senior position, definitely a suit.
Slightly more junior position - Maybe a suit, but maybe just smart shirt and trousers. If you go in wearing a suit, you can always take the jacket off. It shows you come prepared, maybe...

For an interview I'd always go with trousers rather than jeans though.
