    Overdressing says "I really want this job" but on first glance can give the impression you're high strung or dull, or something else bad.

    Underdressing says "I don't really care" or can also come across as arrogant.

    Overdress, and make sure you come across verbally as approachable, friendly and interesting. By underdressing you make it hard to claw back the "I'm lazy" vibe.

    If it's a senior position, definitely a suit.
    Slightly more junior position - Maybe a suit, but maybe just smart shirt and trousers.

    If you go in wearing a suit, you can always take the jacket off. It shows you come prepared, maybe...
