- It's strange, my friend was talking tonight about a movie he saw as a kid where Willem Dafoe fights a guy with sledgehammers.
I was the only person he'd chattedPhanLo - to who'd seen it. Visually the world is amazing in the movie, it's a shame the story isn't as good.

I can't say I'm a true comic book film fan - I definitely dig a few out of the countless productions over the years. Nolan's Batman trilogy, Watchmen, Guardians of the Galaxy was silly fun, but when I saw Justice League, it was one of the first ones of this type of genre I had to turn off.
It took a few times to get through and reading the backstory of production, I understand why it felt like such a mess.
Anyhow, again, not a scholar of these things, but when an artist is allowed to really show the world their work, I appreciate it...
Not everyone is a fan of Zach Snyder, but I do feel like he understands the transition from comic to film in a way others don't...
Hoping his original vision was worth all the "hub-bub"
