I always thought this scene was really stupid, everybody says that the song where is my mind fits the movie really well but I only ever thought of that for the lyrics, the sound and mood of the actual song always never seemed to fit IMO

Surfer Rosa is one of the greatest rock albums of all time, and I suppose Fight Club was just as monumental. Time for a Criterion Collection 10th anniversary edition, hehe.

I remember seeing that movie and, among other things, thinking how cool it would be to join a 'fight club.' Then ultimate fighting took off and I realized I wanted nothing to do with fighting.

The DVD commentary with Fincher, Norton, and Pitt is really great. I always laugh when Norton tells the story of going into a shop to buy something after it came out, and the clerk says "Good movie...SIR."

love this movie. in my top 5 as well. the funny thing is, i didn't see the movie until it was already over 3 years old. i felt so empty inside.
