It's looking kinda sexy on Windows 7.
A couple of things though... It's practically just google chrome as far as I can see :S
And they ditched Mac font smoothing in windows! WTF?
- Chrome and Safari are both built on WebKit so expect similar features.stewdio
- I believe the mac style font rendering is now a preference on the Windows version. Turned off by default.Nathan_Adams

Been using this puppy all day and it is indeed FAST even on an old school G5, can't wait to test out on my intel mac at home... No obvious bugs yet. Sweeeeeet.

I'll have to give it a go on the intel imac when I get home tonight... but still, so far it's a piece of shit here at work.

So What does this actually mean, now?
Seems way too good to be true.
"CSS 3 Web Fonts
CSS 3 web fonts allow web designers to create stunning websites using the fonts they prefer rather than restricting themselves to “web-safe fonts.” Safari is the first web browser to automatically recognize websites that use custom fonts, downloading them as they’re needed."- yeah, but pointless if the other user is using a different browser.iCanHazQBN
- also pointless if you use a font that is OS specific... hmm....Amicus
- The real issue is font licensing. Most foundries prohibit use in this manner, even if it's technically great.Nathan_Adams

doing the download. Tiger or Leopard? I forget. I'm running 10.5.6.
You'd think the "about this mac" would tell you the cat name, or the apple download would tell you the 10.x.x name. Am I just stupid?

Next Mac OS: LOLCat™
- NotByHand0
I like the tabs on top - no altering of the window dimensions anymore.

Since I installed 4, my MSN messenger alert (when someone signs in) no longer works. You know, that pop-up box in the lower right corner... well it doesn't show up. Has anyone else noticed this? It was working fine before I installed Safari 4.
