Loved Spectre. Yeah it has all the same old stuff in every other Bond movie so its getting a lot of mixed reviews for that, but if you love the Bond movies then I dont see how you cant love this.
Its a little closer to the pre-Craig Bond movies with some of the gadgets and more of the silly one-liners from Bond but still felt modern so its a mix of the old and new and I thought it felt pretty fresh.
Im easy to please though. I even loved Quantum even though it seems to be the bitch of the Bond franchise so Im not sure Im a great gauge for quality lol. I didnt love Skyfall when I first saw it, then got the bluray and I think ive seen it like 10x now. Ill definitely watch Spectre a bunch of times when the bluray comes out. 8.5/10 since it could be better in some area, but still a really solid Bond movie.

Btw, this guy Christoph Waltz isnt in the movie a LOT, but man when he is in it every single line is so captivating. Dude is a quality actor, and he must have the best villain lair of all the Bond movies.

Bond dies at the end!

yea, kind of a let down, same as other craig bond movies, kinda silly story, full of plot holes and stuff
but I love bond movies regardless, i go to the cinema just to see the intro animation, bond girls, bond cars and shit hehe
- casino royale looked like it had been put together in flash loltrooperbill
- yes, i guess the one with adelle singing is the one I like the mostfeel

I am watching "Die Another Day" right now. B movies are better than this garbage. Bond movies blow ass!
- except Moonraker... one of the finest B movies ever made and it just happens to be a bond filmPonyBoy
- love moonrakertrooperbill
- Come on. There isn't a Bond movie nearly as bad as Moonraker.CyBrainX
- They’re better the “worse” they are. They’re over-polished commercials these daysscarabin

Really liked that one. Seemed to make more sense than Skyfall.

How has no one mentioned View to a Kill? that movie was fantastic.Christopher Walken, Grace Jones, Megalomaniac tech CEO with a blimp, Iceberg submarines. It's got it all.
- thats when bond was getting way too over the top corny. lost me until 2006 casino royale brought it back to earth.CygnusZero4
- if they let them keep going with that nonsense they would have ended up in space. thankfully someone stopped them.CygnusZero4
- and that actor was so lifeless.CyBrainX
- You did see that just awful space one, Roger Moore, right? Just horrible.formed

Finally saw Spectre.
Sorry to say it kinda sucked, it was entertaining but it just felt flat. I seriously drifted to my phone and I don't do that during movies.
Maybe it was that they tried to have him fall in love with a girl he met a couple days ago?!?!? and before anyone says he hooks up with 2-3 chicks per movie. I will say yes. he bangs them and then they die! This was like: "no serious tho. I love you. out of all the banging bitches I choose you simple-bitch." LAME.
The car. I love cars. love bond cars. love the look of this one. but let me get this straight... you built a prototype high-end super car for the cobblestone streets of Italy??? and he's battling it out with another super car on these streets?!?!? c'mon, at least get some open road time. LAME.
Field agents are gonna be replaced by this new technology... the internet. a google search engine??? yea ok. LAME.
Christoph Waltz. WTF!!! This guy is amaze-balls, that was the most boring uninteresting, mr. rogers, no personality, ass-clown villain. He was almost as bad as the newspaper guy from Tomorrow Never Dies. Who's the next villain? A programmer troll from QBN?!?!?! ZING! This was a major fail because that guy is the shit... "Good Bye James Bond" its "Good Bye Mr. Bond" muthafukka! get it right! LAME.
I don't even want to address shooting down a helicopter with a 9mm while your simple-bitch soul-mate drives a speed boat. I won't. LAME.
So thats it? That was the dude behind all these movies? Internet-man? Yea, I would quit too, James Bond. Have fun doing the family thing with Jennifer... or whatever the fuck her simple ass name was.
LAME.

Soooo. It seems maybe, perhaps Tom Hardy is up next. Possibly.
Not that I don't like Tom Hardy — I think he's fucking brilliant — but, I was rather hoping for Idris Elba.
- Hardy will be great. But I do I think that Elba would have been betterGnash
- I think they need someone younger.zarkonite
- i'd hoped it'd be that woman in the trailer for this new filmhans_glib
- Hardy will be great. He can play a mentalist bruiser no problem. They should do a proper restart and knock it all back to Year One, in the 60's.face_melter
- Yeah that would be great...go back to the 60s and make a tribute to the early Connery films, but darker and more realistic.yuekit
- But of course it will probably be another interchangeable action movie with invisible cars and people bouncing off explosions.yuekit
- Yeah, they would just make it like the Craig films but with drainpipe suits and Vespas.face_melter
- I like the Craig films for their bruising, but it's obvious they were caught sleeping when Greengrass redefined the spy-punchy-action-ex... genre with Bourneface_melter
- ^ Really? Two different types of films, imho. Bourne wasn't really "spy" flicks, imho. I enjoyed them, but very different.formed
- From what I've read, it won't be Hardy or Ibris. Too limiting for Hardy, Ibris is too old and already said no.formed
- Looking back on this post, having Hardy in the role would be a bit too similar to Craig's Bond anyway.
I still want Idris in role. :(Continuity - It’s more about what they do with it I think. Casino Royale was great as it was a complete departure. IMO face_melter’s idea above would be interesting, yuekit
- there’s so much stuff you could draw from in terms of the real history of spying during the Cold War.yuekit
- Anyway the last two Daniel Craig films were absolute shit, I gave up on the last one midway through.yuekit
