you know in the movie when they show all those politicians saying that they don't believe the evolution theory?
I suspect they only say that because of the huge impact that contradicting something like that will have on voters..
so many people ONLY vote based on if a politician is the same religion that they are, that if someone would contradict something like that, people will turn their backs on to them.- As a Christian person I can tell you that most people with like beliefs vote according to who they think best represents them and not based on religion.designbot
- ..Of course a person of the same religion will likely have the same moral convictions. But I would vote for an atheist if he best represented me (though it's unlikely).designbot

I will always remember..
I have a few friends that are mormons, and one time this girl sent me an email (that she was circulating on a list of friends and co-workers) about some guy running for senator or something like that.I don't remember exactly but basically the email said:
"this guy is mormon, we need to vote for him."
There was more on the email but nowhere she was talking about specific political concerns that convinced her that, he is the right guy for the job, or what were his intentions if elected, nothing.. nada, zero zip..
Only the fact that he was mormon.
I was shocked, and I wrote a very big email on how insane I thought she was by basing her vote on the fact that the guy goes to the same church she goes, but at the end I decided to close the email and I never sent it.
I value her as a friend and I know we will never see eye to eye on any religious matters, so I chose to accept her the way she is.

there is always funny to mock religion, in fact real faith is way far from religion.
The only thing about this movie is that he always look for defendless, and weir people to ask questions that not necessarily represent the christian faith community

i can'y understand why some people with or without religion in their life feel it necessary to shove it down other people's throats? isn't belief or lack thereof meant to be personal? if you're so unsure of your personal ideals that you have to force them down other people's throat then how firmly do you really believe them? anyways, i'm off to kill my red-headed step-child.

Well that would in some ways be great, but it is the nature of the religious types to blare their particular brand of lunacy from the rooftops and attempt to get everyone else to play along. They do so with massive amounts of money in a deliberate attempt to influence (=corrupt) the political system that was created separately from their little charade and in theory at least serves everyone regardless of their fairytale convictions.
Atheists, agnostics and antitheists need to rally, speak and argue against this pernicious tide of unreason before it bloody well drowns us in a middle age battle that uses 21st century weapons, and kills us all. They all state they will die for their faiths, the rest of us that just want to get on with our reasonable lives need to have all our wits and balls about us to make damn sure we don't die in the process as well.
That's why.- Out of curiousity, even if what you say is true Miko, what would be the point of getting everyone else to "play along"?designbot
- ironically your second paragraph sounds eerily similar to the thing you are condemning in the first.designbot
