    you know in the movie when they show all those politicians saying that they don't believe the evolution theory?

    I suspect they only say that because of the huge impact that contradicting something like that will have on voters..
    so many people ONLY vote based on if a politician is the same religion that they are, that if someone would contradict something like that, people will turn their backs on to them.
