yea thats what it is. Men feel they are better at everything or should be and basically treat women as sexual objects just look at all the posts here, e.g. "prettiest"

But in all honesty with my 10years plus in this industry i have noticed something. Men bosses are usually a lot more cooler and relaxed... when women bosses are usually try to be over organized over bossy and over anal... i thik that it is because the "man's world" complex that they have in their head they try to over achive and show that they can be as efficient and even a better boss than a man ever can... As when men usually are more lax and concentrate more on the job than all those other ideas

I've found that some of the women bosses I've had tended to micro-manage whatever I was doing, be it data input, project management, design, whereas the guys just generally let me get on with it and only got on my back when I failed to get it done on time through hangovers or weekend drug use.

I know how some female bosses can be, but I've been pretty lucky. Maybe what you guys are describing primarily occurs with design.

plus women bosses tend to think that the men they are in charge of will act like the women, and expend hours and hours every day chatting, gossiping and generally trying to undermine them and each other at every possible opportunity, then blame men for their feelings of isolation and inability to be promoted.

i do have to say that in 10 years of experience i had a harder time getting taken seriously by men in some instances. they respected me, they hired me and listened to me 90% of the time, but when a difficult decision had to be made they ultimately seemed to defer to men. many times they made the wrong decision and admitted it after-the-fact.

I find women seem to make more of a divide – the men Vs women scenario than men do. I also think women a far more paranoid.... and seem to have a massive hang up about these things.
