Clean Coal eh? Not so much.
The largest toxic dumpmp since the Exxon Valdez..larger actually in pure volume. And it's heading right for the Mississippi and the drinking water of three American states. This time it will be Joey Redneck buried in sludge and not penguins.

sputnik I saw that.. but thats counting that the prius is running the motor full on. There were no breaking periods or downhills, etc etc to take full advantage of the way the prius handles both its electric and gas motor.

Only read bits of this thread, saw the usual graphs, caps lock and pictures of polar bears... so sorry if I'm repeating someone else...
But why shouldn't we assume that it IS essentially real? Surely thats the way to proceed? Even if opinion is divided... how can minimising our effect on the environment and reliance on finite energy resources be a bad thing? It's not like we have anywhere else to go. Who cares if you've noticed that mean temperatures in central Botswana have actually been quite stable over the last 30 years? This thread alone (from DESIGNERS!) shows pretty definitive evidence why the issue is taken seriously, and coming up with more sustainable products/energy solutions is surely the smartest way to proceed? Wtf is everyone's beef?

Global warming...It's probably another system of control to shift the weight to other greedy money making individuals. The earth and planet repairs itself. To think that we can actually shift the world's climate is like saying we can move the earth's axis if we all fart at once towards Mecca.
