Only read bits of this thread, saw the usual graphs, caps lock and pictures of polar bears... so sorry if I'm repeating someone else...
But why shouldn't we assume that it IS essentially real? Surely thats the way to proceed? Even if opinion is divided... how can minimising our effect on the environment and reliance on finite energy resources be a bad thing? It's not like we have anywhere else to go. Who cares if you've noticed that mean temperatures in central Botswana have actually been quite stable over the last 30 years? This thread alone (from DESIGNERS!) shows pretty definitive evidence why the issue is taken seriously, and coming up with more sustainable products/energy solutions is surely the smartest way to proceed? Wtf is everyone's beef?
