I just started a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class a day ago and my body is friggin' killing me. I sit all day everyday and for some reason I thought that I would be in enough shape to jump into a Jiu-Jitsu class.
What was I thinking?

one of the gyms I'm a member of specializes in boxing, jiu jitsu and other fighting. I try to avoid going during their hours so I don't look like a pussy.

I've been thinking about getting into formal jiu-jitsu or judo training. Unfortunately I'd have to drive an hour or two to get there and I don't really have the time for that + 2-4hrs of training.

I train and unusualy for designers, Im an amateur body builder. I love it!!!! I train 5 days a week and go running before I get to work. Its the most satisfying feeling ever.
I hope you do it well and keep at it. Satisfaction guaranteed!!! :)

I've gone from 225 to 208 in about a month and a half. It's due to exercise and getting my shrink to prescribe me Topamax.

I need the help of you QBN fitness gurus! I'm working a lot these days and I don't have much time for the gym, so I'm going on a diet.
I don't eat horribly, I just want to watch what I eat. When setting up a diet and trying to lost weight, how should I figure out the % of DV Reduction? I'm looking to lose between 15-20lbs, and I'll exercise when I can, but in terms of daily food intake, what should my % be reduced by?

I've gained a few pounds but I'm still strong. I'm looking to lose 35lbs this summer. I'll pretty much need to starve myself.

I joined a boot camp and after 4 sessions I can barley walk. Can you overdose on advil?
Also he's having us use this web site to track our weight, calories input and strength training. It's free and once you start inputting everything you eat you realize what an alcoholic and how shitty you eat. It's a real wake up.
P.S. Today he said if you must drink only drink Vodka and Soda.

I just weighed in at under 200lbs for the first time in about 10 years.
I've lost 15lbs in about a month and I haven't really been pushing it to hard, mostly just watching what I eat and working out twice a week.
