I think this video is highly pertinent
my 2 cents: I don't see all the fuss. Blanka seems to put together these exhhibitions quite often to promote new products, it's usually the same group of studios, but that''s because they have a working relationship.
I don't think that the idea behind this project is very good though, it smacks of 'greenwash'

Producing bags like this is fine, but why print catalogues etc. Plus there are already 1000s of canvas bags out there, the issue is not making more bags but alerting the public to using them, or campaigning supermarkets to stop giving away free plastic bags.
As communications designers and specialists we should be concentrating on get a message out there effectively, not promoting more 'stuff' for people to buy and discard.
I bought a zip up bag from the supermarket that I take with me at lunchtimes and it fits in my pocket and unzips to full size, so I don't take plastic bags anymore.

hey gradiate... can i have a link to the company called Progress??
i would like to see what their company structure is about and where they manufacture their products.
this is now interesting.
for someone on my end of the business, i would really love to see what it is that they are doing.are they a design house, or are they also the sample room/ production facility?
is Progress a Vendor in the Accessories Industry?
i would like to know.

kelpie are you asking to see the final product or my sketches to get to that final product?
my robos are just art, not products...i would one day to make em that way, but yes i do have specs made for a full on die cast metal action figure for each of them, just so when i meet such a factory i can easily go forward and produce my own toy line.
no offence was taken i meant it literly as thanks for taking my side!! not like i have a side on any of this.

here is a nice HIRES pic of one of my Duffels...i designed the bag, the hardware, the look and the entire collection. this is a wet/ dry travel duffel case with a compartment built-in to hold and protect a laptop very secruely. the bag can be dropped and the electronics inside are all protected. extreme saftey checks have been made to ensure a quality product. enjoy!!

sorry helv, but check my post above, and you will find out why!! i remember designerror did this a longtime ago in the PBS as a joke and also started that dy's PSB battle and most poeple clicked it and the PSB disappeared.... and everyone thought he was banned!!!
