So some bags get designed to be re-used instead of plastic ones and its evil capatlist money spinning made to push you into the machine that you are all fighting against? Or they are some bags with designs on, where each designer for no money i might add, responded to a brief? Or is that all a bit level headed for you?
Don't like it? Fine. Hate graphic design/ers? Fine, though a little weird to be on a forum full of it/them. Claim you are being lied to? Beyond argument and simple.
Get off your cycnical horses and stop ripping stuff for the sake of it, because it makes you smirk behind your blinking screens.

(Oct 10 07, 05:11)again, you are not a bag designer, you have not designed this bag, you have only created a graphic print in 1 colourway which is only screen printed on a face of a pre-designed product, you are still fighting against everyone in your claims of designing a bag and it is rather insulting that you do this as i am a bag designer. i really dont know what else to say to you to stop boasting something you clearly are not.
im not fighting you, im just annoyed to keep reading your comments as it is not helping your stance.

i don't think designers are necessarily the ones to buy "design" things.
better to find your real taste for things, and buy things independently from the mainstream or substream.
just away from any stream really.

Sorry for getting in the way of the great graphic design sustainablility crusade!
C'mon Gradiate this is just about Blanka making cash, and pretty little else, by selling 10 or so different styles of a bag, and yes I appreciate the attitude of the project and some of the designers responses, but if I really truely cared, I can buy a pretty robust canvas tote for a £1 at Sainsburys (yep and I have 3) and not 'cause I was thinking about it but didn't have a bag fancy enough to carry it in, or because I was stupidly going round collecting carrier bags until a bag with graphics on made me see the error of my ways!
Yes the one that you guys is informative and great to look at, and may go some way to change people's attitude, but at the end of it it's just a pretty expensive, cheap looking bag! that aparently needs a launch and a show!

Agree to disagree edd-e on that definiton. For me a t-shirt design is a t-shirt design regardless of the make of shirt. You dont have to design the paper to be a poster deigner? but my comments werent aimed at you.
